Crystal Palace’s young talent, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, showcased his skills in a pre-season friendly against Brøndby IF, earning praise for his performance.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian, who was born in England, started the match and played the entire duration as Crystal Palace secured a 2-2 draw against the Danish club on Saturday.

Rak-Sakyi made a significant impact on the game, opening the scoring for Palace in the 35th minute. The first half concluded with Crystal Palace leading 1-0. However, Brøndby’s Danish international, Mathias Kvistgaarden, equalized shortly after the second half began.

Not to be outdone, Crystal Palace regained the lead with a goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta in the 50th minute. But once again, Mathias Kvistgaarden struck for Brøndby, scoring his second goal of the match and securing a well-deserved draw for his team.

Although Ghanaian compatriot Jordan Ayew was present on the bench for the match, he didn’t make an appearance.

Rak-Sakyi’s impressive performance in the pre-season friendly adds to his growing reputation. Last season, he played on loan for Charlton Athletic in League One, where he excelled. With 15 goals and 10 assists in 50 appearances, he earned the Player of the Year award for the club.

As the new season approaches, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi will be eager to secure a place in the Crystal Palace squad and continue his footballing journey at the Premier League level. His talent and potential make him a promising prospect for the team.
