Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has completed a loan move from Crystal Palace to Stoke City for the rest of the season. The deal is a straight loan, with no option or obligation for Stoke to buy the player at the end of the campaign.
The 23-year-old winger has struggled for regular playing time at Crystal Palace over the last two seasons. Because of this, the club was open to letting him leave, just as they were last summer.
Rak-Sakyi spent the first part of this season on loan at Turkish side Caykur Rizespor, where he impressed by scoring four goals in 13 matches before being recalled early last month.
There was strong interest in him during the transfer window. Millwall made a late move to sign him, and French club Lille also showed interest. However, Rak-Sakyi has now decided to join Stoke City, where he hopes to get more game time and rebuild his confidence.
Rak-Sakyi has not played for Crystal Palace since the 2023–24 season, when he made ten first-team appearances.
A former Charlton Athletic Player of the Year, he is under contract with Palace until the summer of 2027. This loan move gives him a fresh chance to show his quality for the remainder of the season.
