Rangers’ hopes of signing Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi have hit a stumbling block. The English side’s manager, Oliver Glasner, has expressed concerns over the current squad depth, making it unlikely that any player will be allowed to leave unless new signings are made.
Rak-Sakyi, who is currently recovering from an injury picked up in a pre-season match against Crawley Town, had been on Rangers’ radar for a potential loan deal with an option to buy.
Glasner, frustrated by the club’s limited activity in the transfer market, told Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung that his squad is thin and that more reinforcements are needed urgently.
Rangers manager Philippe Clement remains interested, with reports confirming that Rak-Sakyi is a player he and his recruitment team admire. However, the situation remains uncertain with the transfer window progressing.
