Sheffield United claimed a 2-0 win over Stoke City at Bramall Lane, with English-born Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi playing a pivotal role in the victory.
Rak-Sakyi, who started and played until the 64th minute, delivered a crucial assist for Tyrese Campbell’s goal in the 50th minute.
Campbell’s precise left-footed shot from the center of the box, set up by Rak-Sakyi, gave the Blades a comfortable lead after Kieffer Moore had opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a well-placed strike from Alfie Gilchrist’s set-piece pass.
Controlling 59% of possession and producing 19 shots, Sheffield United kept Stoke’s defense on edge throughout the game.
This result strengthens Sheffield United’s head-to-head record against Stoke to four wins, reinforcing their strong form in the Championship. Rak-Sakyi, with 11 league appearances this season, now has two goals and one assist.
They look to continue their momentum when they face Blackburn Rovers on November 2.
