Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu Henry earned the Man of the Match award in Northampton Town’s commanding 3-0 win over Crawley Town in an English League One clash on Saturday.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring after just 16 minutes, setting the Cobblers on course for victory at Sixfields Stadium. Fosu’s pace and skill on the right wing troubled Crawley’s defense throughout, establishing his influential presence early on.
Northampton doubled their lead in the 30th minute with a Jay Williams own goal, and Mitch Pinnock sealed the win ten minutes into the second half.
Fosu, who joined Northampton in the summer transfer window after leaving Brentford, has quickly made an impact, scoring twice and providing two assists in ten matches this season.
The England-born Ghana international has four caps for the Black Stars, making his debut on October 9, 2020.
