“I believe it’s the determination and hard work factor. Looking at how the lads keep working hard every day with the help of the technical team led by the experienced coach Abdul Karim Zito and also how the management and everyone in the club have supported the journey so far. Not forgetting the support and prayers from the fans across the nation and beyond,” said John Antwi when sharing his thoughts on factors that have motivated Dreams FC so far.
It is still surprising to many Ghanaians how far Dreams FC has reached in the CAF Confederation Cup. The minnows have punched above their weight and have crossed many rivers in their quest to make the unthinkable happen. Starman John Antwi has revealed that Still Believe is motivated by determination, hard work, head coach Karim Zito and unwavering support from their avid supporters and Ghanaians in general.
The 31-year-old veteran is one of the leading scorers in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup as he has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists. He explained how he maintains his consistency in front of goals.
“First of all, we go into every game as a team and the aim is to win before we think about any individual glory, so I will just do my best to help the team win and in so doing I will be happy to score more goals,” concluded Antwi.
Dreams FC have indeed played as a team as players like Abdul Aziz Issah, Agyenim Boateng Mensah, Emmanuel Agyei, John Antwi, Suhuyini and goalkeeper Agbesi have all contributed the part to the success.
