Former Black Stars defender John Paintsil moves to the National U20 team, the Black Satellites, as Assistant Coach.
Paintsil moves from the senior national team, where he served as part of the Black Stars technical staff, to continue his coaching development with the national youth setup.
The former Fulham, Leicester City and West Ham United full-back will assist the Black Satellites technical team as they begin preparations for next year’s U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The move forms part of the GFA’s ongoing technical restructuring, which aims to ensure greater focus and efficiency across the various national teams.
The GFA believes his experience and leadership will be invaluable to the development of the Black Satellites.
