Due to his stallar display and exploits in goal which helped the Black Stars to secure a place in the playoffs spot of this year’s FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

After the poor performances by Lawrence Ati-Zigi of FC St Gallen in Switzerland and Abdul Nurudeen Manaf of KAS Eupen in Belgium against Algeria last Wednesday, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that Wollacott has been named as Ghana’s first choice goalkeeper for the AFCON.
