The Black Stars shot-stopper suffered a finger injury on Saturday at his club Charlton just days before the start of the 2022 World Cup.
He was forced to pull out of the pre-game warmups due to the injury and will have a scan to determine its extent later on Saturday night.
Speaking to CharltonTV after the game Garner said: “He caught the end of his finger in the warm-up. He’ll get scanned as soon as we get back down to London. We’re hoping and praying that it is nothing because he’s due to fly out to the World Cup tomorrow.”
Wollacott has established himself as Ghana’s number one goalkeeper going ahead to the competition and will be a big blow to Ghana if he misses out.
The Goalkeeper was billed to leave London on Monday 13th November to join his Blcak Stars teammates in Abu Dhabi where the team will be camping before they fly to Qatr for the World Cup later this month.
Ghana have been drawn in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
