Belgian Jupiler Pro League side OH Leuven has confirmed that Ghanaian attacker Jonah Osabutey is out for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old forward has surgery to correct a groin problem and the boss of his club says he cannot play football again this campaign.
“Unfortunately, Jonah will probably be out for the rest of the season,” Werder Bremen’s sports director Frank Baumann told DeichStube.
Osabutey is on loan from German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen but has not yet made an appearance this season due to the reoccurring injury.
