Ghanaian duo Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp wrapped up their US Pre-season tour with Crystal Palace by winning the Stateside Cup.

Ayew and Schlupp contributed immensely during the tour as the South London club defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham to win the pre-season trophy.

In their final match in the United States, Ayew and Schlupp combined for their side’s second in the 3-1 victory over the Hammers. The duo were also on target in the victory over Wolves in the previous game.

Meanwhile, in a thrilling contest, Tyrick Mitchell opened the scoring for Palace after just a minute but Michail Antonio levelled for West Ham twenty minutes later.

Ayew set up Schlupp for the second after his teasing cross into the box was met by his compatriot, who headed past the West Ham goalie.

Three minutes later, Osdonne Edouard put the game beyond their London rivals as Crystal Palace ended their US tour with success.

The South London club will return to England for their last pre-season encounter against French outfit FC Nantes before the 2024/25 Premier League campaign begins.

Meanwhile, Leicester City are interested in signing Jordan Ayew as the Premier League returnees see him as replacement for Kelechi Iheanacho who recently moved to the Spanish Laliga.
