The Black Stars forward standout performance took center stage as KRC Genk faced off against KAA Gent, resulting in a 2-2 draw that left fans on the edge of their seats on Sunday afternoon.

The excitement unfolded early in the match when Tariq Tissoudali, displaying his goal-scoring prowess, netted the opening goal for the visitors, putting them in the lead 1-0 after just 12 minutes. The momentum, however, swung swiftly as Collins Sor, on the 21st-minute mark, scored an equalizer for the home team, setting the score at 1-1.

The turning point arrived in the 51st minute when Ghana International Joseph Paintsil showcased his playmaking finesse, setting up Collins Sor for the winning goal, propelling KRC Genk to a 2-1 advantage.

Joseph Paintsil’s impactful presence on the field continued for 88 minutes, demonstrating his endurance and commitment. His substitution, with Christopher Bonsu Baah taking the reins, emphasized the team’s depth in talent, ensuring a seamless transition in the pursuit of victory.

As the match delved into additional time, suspense heightened when Gent secured an equalizer, making it 2-2, with Tissoudali notching a brace. The late drama added an extra layer of intensity to an already gripping encounter, leaving spectators in awe of the unfolding spectacle.

Despite the draw, Joseph Paintsil’s noteworthy contributions were evident, further solidifying his role as a key figure for KRC Genk

. The 25-year-old Ghanaian attacker’s impressive tally of three goals and five assists in 16 matches underscores his consistent impact and integral role in the team’s journey through the Jupiler Pro League season. Fans can anticipate more thrilling performances from Paintsil as the season unfolds, promising a captivating football spectacle.
