The LA Galaxy star, has sent his good well message to the Black Stars team ahead of their Thursday’s epic World Cup qualifier game against Mali.
“Wishing you all the best in today’s match, guys . Let’s show them we are GHANA” Paintsil posted on his official (X) account.
Painstil, who missed the squad due to last-minute injury, took to social media to wish his teammates well ahead of the big clash as Ghana targets victory in Bamako.
A win for Ghana would elevate them to second place in the standings, as they currently sit fifth with one win and one defeat in two games. Conversely, a loss would severely hamper their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The World Cup qualifier between Mali and Ghana is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, with kick-off at 7 pm.
