Liverpool’s legendary manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the ongoing season.

The 56-year-old former Borussia Dortmund manager shocked everyone when he revealed that he would step down as the manager of Liverpool FC.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool on October 8th, 2015, after replacing Brendan Rogers.

Jurgen Klopp has disclosed that he has told the club’s bosses about his intention to stand down back in November last year.

“I will leave the club at the end of the season,” Klopp said in an emotional video posted by Liverpool. “I understand that it’s a shock.”

Jurgen Klopp has won the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, FA Cup, Football League Cup, FA Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup for Liverpool.

His departure will be a big blow to the Liverpool fraternity. Rumours say Bayer Leverkusen’s high-flying manager, Xabi Alonso is leading the race to succeed Jurgen Klopp.
