Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana has shared his excitement after completing his move to Serie A club Atalanta BC, expressing satisfaction with the club’s impressive facilities.
The 23-year-old winger finalized his transfer from English side Southampton on Wednesday, July 2, in a deal reportedly worth €17 million plus bonuses. The move marks a new chapter in Sulemana’s career, following previous spells at FC Nordsjælland, Stade Rennais, and Southampton.
Speaking to the Atalanta media team after touring the club’s training facilities, Sulemana couldn’t hide his delight.
“I just had a tour at the training centre and I can say it’s a big facility, a lot of stuff to do here and I can’t wait to get started. I’m very happy to start my new adventure here. So far, I like everything I see. I will give all my best to the club,” he said.
Sulemana is known for his explosive speed, dribbling ability, and direct style of play. He is expected to play a key role in Atalanta’s plans as the club looks to build on its recent success, including winning the 2024 UEFA Europa League.
The Black Stars winger joins a team with strong ambitions, and under the guidance of coach Ivan Jurić, he is tipped to continue his development and make a big impact in Italian football.
