Southampton head coach Nathan Jones has stated that Kamaldeen Sulemana can add potency to any squad amid a bid from the club rejected by Stade Rennais.
Sulemana joined Rennais in 2021 on a 17 million euro fee but has struggled to get minutes this season.
He has been a subject of interest for PSV, who also saw their bid rejected for his services.
“He’ll add potency to anyone… We know what we want to do and it’s about making those decisions. You can never have too much pace. Never too much power. Never have too much aggression,” he said on Friday in a presser for their FA cup tie with Blackpool.
The former Nordsjaelland man played for the Black Stars in the 2022 World Cup.
