Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey is set to undergo a scan on a rib injury he suffered during Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup.
The former Manchester City man played the first 45 minutes for Arsenal but did not play in the second half due to the issue.
“He had some discomfort [to his ribs] and it was getting worse and worse. He could not continue. He wasn’t comfortable to continue. Tomorrow or the day after we’ll have to have an MRI scan and see what he has,” Arteta confirmed after the game.
Partey has scored two goals for Arsenal this season.
