Ghanaian international Kelvin Yeboah delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday, scoring twice to lead Minnesota United FC to a convincing 3-0 victory over Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer (MLS).
After earning a spot in the matchday squad, Yeboah started in the first eleven and quickly made an impact. Just 16 minutes into the first half, he capitalized on a scoring opportunity, finding the back of the net to give his team a well-deserved lead.
That goal remained the difference at halftime, but Yeboah wasn’t finished. Just two minutes after the break, he struck again, doubling Minnesota United’s lead and completing his brace.
With a comfortable advantage, Minnesota United controlled the match and sealed the win with a third goal from Hassani Dotson in the 82nd minute, adding the final touch to a dominant performance.
Following his impressive outing against Colorado Rapids, Kelvin Yeboah now boasts seven goals in just six appearances for Minnesota United FC in the MLS.
