Kumasi-based King Faisal FC picked a precious point in the Ghana Premier League week 32 clashes against Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
The Insha Allah Boys beat the Phobians by a lone goal in their clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday evening.
Hearts were quick out of their blocks on the night and had a greater share of possession in the opening half of the match but couldn’t capitalize.
Both teams couldn’t score as the first half of the match ended goalless despite chances coming both teams way.
Hearts created a lot of openings in the second half but failed to take full advantage of the situation and let themselves down.
Former Phobian, Richard Akrufi, who’s the captain of King Faisal FC popped up when all hope was lost to score a last-gasp goal to win it for the Green and Whites outfit.
King Faisal are now 13th on the league table after 32 matches with 39 points and are one win away from safety.
They will travel up north to take on another strugglers, Real Tamale United FC before drawing the curtains down at home to Legon Cities FC.
