The newly appointed head coach of King Faisal Football Club, Ignatius Osei-Fosu, has explained why he accepted the job.
On April 5th, the Kumasi-based club announced that Osei-Fosu would be taking charge of the team, and just hours later, he led them to a goalless draw against Asante Kotoko in his first match.
Following the game, Osei-Fosu revealed that he took the job because he is results-oriented and wants to help King Faisal avoid relegation, just as he did with his former team, Dreams FC, last season.
He expressed confidence that he can not only save King Faisal from relegation but also lead them to win the Ghana Premier League.
“The reality is that I saved Dreams FC, and I’m here to save King Faisal too,” said Osei-Fosu. “When you look at the points build-up, it’s possible we can win the league.”
