King Faisal Football Club has announced that they will be parting ways with head coach Jimmy Cobblah.
Cobblah, who was appointed earlier in the ongoing 2022/23 season to help the team avoid relegation, managed to bring some positive results initially.
However, the team’s performance has since deteriorated, and they currently find themselves at the bottom of the league table after playing 23 matches.
In their latest match against Kotoku Royals, King Faisal suffered a 4-2 defeat, leaving Cobblah visibly distraught on the touchline. As a result of their continued poor performance, the club’s management has decided to relieve Cobblah of his duties, fearing the possibility of relegation.
Rumors are circulating that Ignatius Osei-Fosu, a former Dreams FC coach, is being considered for the vacant position at King Faisal.
