Baba Yahaya, the midfielder for King Faisal, has revealed his intentions to join either Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak after an impressive season in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League.
Despite King Faisal’s disappointing campaign that led to their demotion, Yahaya stood out for the team with remarkable performances, attracting interest from several clubs.
Having appeared in 33 games for King Faisal and scoring three goals, Yahaya has become one of the most highly sought-after players in the country.
Both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, who had underwhelming seasons by their standards, are looking to strengthen their squads for the upcoming season in order to compete at the highest level. The 21-year-old midfielder appears to be a priority target for both clubs.
Baba Yahaya has now addressed the various rumors surrounding his potential move and expressed his openness to joining the club that presents him with a compelling offer.
“I have heard the rumors, but there hasn’t been any official contact from any club. I admire both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak because they are the two biggest clubs in Ghana. However, I will join the club that comes forward with a substantial offer,” he stated.
