King Faisal youngster Baba Yahaya bags MoTM award in Kotoko defeat

Promising attacking Baba Yahaya was adjudjed  Man of the Match in King Faisal’s Ghana Premier League matchday 23 defeat to Asante Kotoko.

The 19-year was absolutely unplayable as he made the game very difficult for Justice Blay and Yussif Mubarik who partnered in central defense.

Industrious left-back Imoro Ibrahim scored an excellent free early in the first half secured a 1-0 win over the Insha Allah.

Kotoko got their first win of the season over their neighbors in their third attempt as they pipped them 1-0.

Imoro came close to scoring again from a free-kick when Fabio Gama Dos Santos was brought down again at the edge of the box but his effort hit the crossbar.

Kotoko are now 10 points clear of the top of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season after beating king Faisal.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will host rivals  Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in their crucial matchday 24 Super Clash.
