Kingsley Schindler has been called up to replace the injured Tariq Lamptey for Ghana’s international friendly games against Mexico and the United States.
The 29-year-old German-born player, who has one cap for Ghana, has arrived in Charlotte to join the rest of the squad for the two matches. He currently plays for Turkey Super Lig side Samsunspor.
Tariq Lamptey, who was initially part of the 25-man squad announced for the two matches, has been forced to withdraw due to injury.
Ghana will face Mexico on Saturday, October 14, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by a match against the United States of America on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
