Assistant coach of the Black Stars Maxwell Konadu is expected to take temporary charge of the team following Avram Grant’s departure.
Grant led the Black Stars to a fourth place in the just ended Africa Cup of Nations tournament played in Gabon.
The Former Chelsea Boss supervised 29 matches; winning 14, drawing 8 and losing 7 since taking the job in 2014.
Konadu, who has been deputy coach since 2012, will hold the fort until a new man comes to handle the team.
The former Wa All Stars and Kotoko Coach will lead the local Black Stars for the 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso in March.
