Kumasi Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah is elated after his side won the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors were declared league champions on Wednesday after they drew with Ashanti Gold to move ten points from second place Bechem United with just three games left.
Amponsah was glad following the triumph as he thanked the club owner and the fans for their unflinching support.
“I’m extremely excited to see the hard work put in by the technical team and players pay off.Winning the league came with hard work. Kudos to the Kotoko family (His Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu II,Board and management).To our cherished fans you are the main winners. God bless us all.” He tweeted.
Kotoko are already planning ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign as they hope to make a big impact.
