Karim Zito will meet the Interim Management Committee of Asante Kotoko this week as the club seeks urgent answers to its recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League.
The head coach is under intense pressure after going four straight matches without a win, a run that includes back-to-back defeats. Kotoko first fell to Basake Holy Stars last Wednesday before suffering another 1–0 loss to Hohoe United on Sunday.
These setbacks have pushed the Porcupine Warriors down to fifth place on the league table with 21 points after 13 matches. The committee, led by Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah, is expected to review the situation with Zito and decide the way forward, though it remains unclear whether his position is at risk.
Zito, who helped guide Kotoko to an FA Cup triumph over Golden Kick FC before earning the permanent role, now faces a crucial moment in his tenure.
Kotoko will aim to steady their season when they welcome Dreams FC to the Baba Yara Stadium on Matchday 14.
