Kotoko IMC has paid GH¢60,000 of the GH¢120,000 compensation owed to Coach Zito following his recent resignation, according to club officials. The total amount represents four months’ salary.
Coach Zito has reportedly requested clarification on the remaining balance, while the club has stated that the payment will be made in tranches due to bookkeeping and financial management constraints.
The situation comes in the aftermath of Zito’s exit, with both parties seeking to resolve the matter amicably as the club continues its preparations for the season.
