Former Asante Kotoko striker, Ibrahim Osman has said that he was neglected by the club’s management under Nana Yaw Amponsah when he got injured.
Ibrahim Osman said he got injured while playing for King Faisal on loan for Asante Kotoko in 2021/2022 football season and was not given any proper medical care.
The youngster revealed that he returned to his parent club Asante Kotoko who sent him on loan but all efforts to reach the club’s heriachy were not fruitful as the CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah in particular refused to pick his calls.
Osman revealed that he has been battling with an ACL injury for the past one year and will need GH₵40,000 for the surgery.
“I was neglected by Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management, he refused to answer my calls, and now my contract with the club has expired. I’m pleading with the GFA to help me with my injury”.
“Frankly speaking, I need help badly because I have no one. People Think I have traveled out of the country but I am in my house, I didn’t go anywhere. I have been home for more than a year without playing football, and I will need GHC40,000 for my surgery”, Osman told Angel FM in an interview.
