Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim is honored to have been named as the new captain of Asante Kotoko.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper was confirmed as the new captain of Asante Kotoko ahead of the start of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.
Danlad Ibrahim picks up the role due to the departure of captain Richard Boadu popularly called Agadas.
“I will say it’s a blessing, and I give thanks to the Almighty Allah, to our noble technical staff and head coach, Prosper Ogum, and to our great supporters.”
“I am very grateful for this, and I promise to serve wholeheartedly like I have always done since I joined [this club],” he said while reacting to his appointment.
Cameroonian striker, George Mfegue and midfielder, Richmond Lamptey have been appointed as the first and second deputy skippers respectively.
