Asante Kotoko National Circles Council (NCC) are accusing the country’s football governing body of favoring their sworn rivals Hearts of Oak in the tight league title race.
The two giants currently are pegged with 53 points with five games to go and will face each other in Accra next weekend.
That epic clash is considered as the title decider, and ahead of the match, Kotoko are mega trouble of not having their captain Emmanuel available for selection.
Gyamfi has been charged with misconduct after television cameras captured him stamping on the foot of an Inter Allies player.
The incident happened on Monday during Kotoko’s thrilling 3-2 victory in Dawu against the relegation-threatened side Andy Okpe
Gyamfi has until close of work Friday to respond to the charge, after which he will know his fate.

The situation has left Porcupine Warriors supporters in fear as they think the speedster who has been one of their best players this term could be suspended and miss the game against Hearts of Oak.
According to the club’s NCC public relations officer Alexander Osei Owusu, the GFA are in bed with Hearts of Oak, who have not won the league in over a decade.
“This is a calculated attempt by the FA only to favor Hearts of Oak and distract Kotoko from winning the league,” he said on Kumasi FM.
Hearts of Oak and Kotoko face off on June 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
