Mohammed Zakari, the midfielder for Kotoku Royals, is on the verge of achieving a remarkable feat by becoming the first player in the club’s history to feature in all 34 games of the Ghana Premier League season.
In the debut campaign of Kotoku Royals in the league, the industrious midfielder is just one game away from reaching this milestone. Despite the club’s relegation to the Division One League, Zakari has had a commendable season.
If Zakari is selected to play against Karela United on Sunday, he will secure his place in history as the first player to make an appearance in every league match for Kotoku Royals. The match will take place at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, where the Oda-based club will host the Pride of the West on the final round of the Ghana Premier League.

Throughout the season, the highly-rated midfielder has made 33 appearances, starting in 32 matches and making one substitute appearance. He has contributed one goal and two assists in the domestic top-flight competition.
Mohammed Zakari joined Kotoku Royals after the expiration of his contract with Inter Allies, and he has made a significant impact since his arrival.
