Ghana’s president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has just congratulated the Black Stars for their win over South Korea on Monday afternoon at the Education City Stadium in Al Wakrah.

Ghana beat the Asians 3-2 in a frenetic and nerve wrecking encounter after the Stars lost their two goal lead before Mohammed Kudus late winner.

“Kudos to the Black Stars. Hard fought, but thoroughly well-deserved victory against South Korea.”

“Proud of the entire team and the unalloyed support given to them by all Ghanaians. Now to the final group stage game against Uruguay”, Akufo-Addo Tweeted.

Ghana face Uruguay in the last group game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar on Friday afternoon with qualification at stake.
