Heart of Lions forward Kwadwo Obeng Jnr has been named in the Ghana Premier League Team of the Week for Week 9, following his crucial goal in a tight 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko.
Obeng Jnr, a former Hearts of Oak striker, delivered the game-winning strike, handing Kotoko their second straight loss and cementing his spot in the weekly lineup selected by Fatau Dauda for the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The Week 9 lineup also recognizes three Hearts of Oak players—Hamza Issah, Kelvin Osei Asibey, and Benjamin Asare—who were instrumental in their team’s 2-0 win over Medeama SC. Their performance highlighted Hearts of Oak’s rising momentum in the league.
