Kwara United coach Tunde Sanni Salihu says his team is fully prepared and confident of defeating Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup clash, provided officiating is fair.
Speaking on Akoma 87.9 FM, Salihu dismissed the notion that Kotoko’s national team players pose any threat, stressing that Kwara United also boast national team stars—even some on the bench.
He stated that the club’s ambition this season is to compete strongly for all three trophies at stake, including the CAF Confederation Cup.
Salihu urged Nigerians living in Ghana to come out in large numbers on Sunday to cheer Kwara United, assuring supporters that the team “will not disappoint.”
