Experienced Ghanaian trainer James Kwesi Appiah has applied for the vacant role of the Black Stars head coach.
The highly respected coach experienced is looking to manage the West African country for a third stint having led them to the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Otto Addo, who was the head coach of the side, left the role after his team exited the 2022 World Cup group stages.

Appiah revealed this information to Kumasi-based Sompa FM. He is among a host of coaches to apply for the job including Chris Hughton.
