Laryea Kingston, a former Ghanaian soccer player, has shown that he’s eager and ready to become the coach of the Black Stars.
The Ghana Football Association is currently looking for a new coach for the national team after Chris Hughton left due to the disappointing performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.
To find a suitable replacement, a group of five people has been put together to recommend a coach to the Football Association’s Executive Council.
Kingston has experience coaching youth teams in Denmark, with FC Nordsjaelland, and at the Right to Dream Academy. He feels confident and prepared to take on the challenge of coaching the Black Stars. He knows what it takes to coach at a high level and is ready to handle the responsibilities.
“I will accept and do it easy,” Kingston said confidently about his readiness to coach the Black Stars. He believes in his abilities and understands what’s required for the job. He’s eager to seize the opportunity if it’s given to him.
Currently serving as the assistant head coach of the Black Starlets, Kingston brings valuable knowledge and insights about Ghanaian football. His experience and background make him a strong candidate for the position of coaching the Black Stars.
