Real Madrid’s substitute Joselu stole the show with two late goals in a dramatic 3-2 semi-final aggregate victory against Bayern Munich.

The Spanish giants are now on course for their 15th title in the Champions League.

In a nail-biting encounter, Joselu’s heroics in the dying minutes of the game turned the tide in favor of Real Madrid, securing their spot in the final. Check out the thrilling match recap below for all the details.

Second Half: The Turning Point

The second half saw intense action with neither team making changes at the break. Vinicius Junior and Alphonso Davies showcased their skills, threatening both defenses. However, it was Davies who broke the deadlock with a stunning strike in the 68th minute, sending shockwaves through the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid thought they had equalized through Nacho, but VAR ruled it out, leaving them chasing a crucial goal. With time running out, Joselu emerged as the hero, capitalizing on a Manuel Neuer mistake to level the tie before sealing the victory with a poacher’s finish.

Controversy and Drama: Real Madrid’s Final Push

The match wasn’t without controversy as a late disallowed goal added to the tension. Despite Bayern’s resilience, Real Madrid held on, securing their spot in the final to face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on June 2nd.

First Half: Tense Beginnings

The first half was tightly contested, with both teams vying for control. Real Madrid dominated early on, coming close to scoring through Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior. Harry Kane threatened for Bayern, but Lunin’s saves kept the hosts at bay.

As the half progressed, chances were scarce, with both defenses holding firm. The deadlock remained unbroken, setting the stage for a thrilling second half.

Joselu’s heroics will be remembered as Real Madrid march one step closer to Champions League glory.
