Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Ofori has signed a permanent deal with newly-promoted side Moreirense Football Club.
Ofori pens a three-year deal with the club after enjoying a successful loan stint last season en route to their promotion to the Primeira Liga.
The central midfielder arrived at the club last season, from FC Famalicão and was an important piece in the club’s triumph in the second tier of Portuguese football.
He featured in 37 games, made 3 assists and scored 5 goals in the colours of Moreirense. As part of his developments last season, Ofori was named the best midfielder of the month on two occasions appearing in the Team of the Season of the Portugal Sabseg League.
Ofori will finally have an opportunity to play in the Portuguese top flight starting with the 2023/24 season.
