Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu led Northampton Town to a resounding 3-0 victory over Jojo Wollacott’s Crawley Town in their League One clash on Saturday at Sixfields Stadium.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring in the 16th minute and went on to be named Man of the Match despite being subbed off after 65 minutes. Northampton doubled their lead just before halftime through a Jay Williams own goal, with Mitch Pinnock securing the win ten minutes into the second half.
Fosu joined Northampton in the summer after spending a year as a free agent following his departure from Brentford. In ten appearances this season, he has scored twice and provided two assists.
Internationally, Fosu has earned four caps for Ghana, making his debut for the Black Stars on October 9, 2020.
