Hans Kwoffie and Hamza Abdul Nassiru scored to hand Legon Cities a 2-1 victory over West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) on Sunday.
The win was the sixth of the league season for Cities who now are now 12th on the league log with 26 points after 21 games.
Former Ashanti Gold attacker opened the scoring in the 21st minute before Nassiru Abdul made it 2-0 in the 31st.
WAFA pulled a goal abck through Ayidem Moses five minutes from time as they threatened a late come back but the team coached by Maxwell Konadu held on to win.
