John Painstil has waved in on the assessment of Legon cities, stating clearly the club does not belong to their current standings on the league log.
The ex-Ghanaian international who also happens to be a board member of the rich Ghanaian club has opined emphatically the fortunes of the team will take a positive direction before the season comes to a close.
During a discussion on GTV sports plus, the former Fulham player said” definitely Legon Cities this not our place and surely the team will bounce up at the end of the season and we will find ourselves top seven or top eight that’s where the club deserves to be”
Legon Cities have endured a difficult time in the league even after the acquisition of Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan whose playing time have been limited by injuries and fitness issue. The club also managed to sign Victorien Adebayor after a short stint in Europe but is yet to leave up to expectation.
After 20 matches in the league Legon cities lie 14th on the table with eight losses and 5 wins.
