The Legon Cities striker says helping one’s football team to win titles is a better success than winning individual gong like the ‘Goal King’.
According to the former Ashantigold striker, he received nothing to show for the 17 goals he scored to emerge as the 2017 top goal scorer of the Ghana Premier League.

“I have been crowned the goal king before. But I didn’t get anything.” Kwofie said to Service Radio of Sunyani.
“For you to be crowned the goal king and gets nothing then it is better to help your team achieve something better.” the player who has scored 8 goals this season in the Ghana league added.
Kwofie joined Cities during the second transfer window and has scored three goals already for the struggling side.
