Cameroonian striker Frank Etouga Mbella opened the scoring for Asante Kotoko on the 5th minute from the spot against Accra Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Frank Etouga’s brace and Awuni’s consolation for Lions ended the first half with the host on top.
