Madagascar skipper Ibrahim Amada has joined his colleagues for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana on Sunday.
The Saudi-based enforcer was injured but e has regained full fitness and he is ready to serve his nation. Other players who have arrived in camp also include midfielder Tiavina “Dounga” Rakotoarisoa and experienced attacker Carolus Andriamahitsinoro, who has come in for injured Thailand-based forward Njiva Rakotoharimalala.
Romain Metanire, who has been unattached since 2022 after leaving Minnesota United also returns to the squad.
Madagascar badly need a win at home against Ghana as they are last in the Group with one point after four games.
