Ghanaian international Midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru played a part role in Anderlecht’s demolishing of Westerlo.
Anderlecht went away to Westerlo in round 16 of the Belgium Jupiler Pro League. Anderlecht came into the game beaming with lot confidence after winning 4 games from 5 in the Belgian topflight.
Westerlo on the other hand have been very abysmal in the league as they are rooted firmly in the relegation spot.
Anderlecht scored two goals in the first half before putting the game to bed in the 82nd minute of the game. The Black Midfielder is yet to register a goal this season after his inconsistency due to injury.
The ex-WAFA player was introduced in the 77th minute of the game. Ashimeru was a delight for the Black Stars when they played against Madagascar in the World Cup qualifier.
