Senegal and Burkina Faso meet for the first time in an Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals on Wednesday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.
Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has taken part of all five games of Senegal at the competition scoring two goals.
Even when he was hospitalized following a head collision against Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha, Mane quickly bounced back to the starting line-up in the next game against Equatorial Guinea and did 90 minutes.
Ahead of the showdown against the Stallions, Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has singled out the Liverpool star for praises.
““He is a key player” says Senegal head coach Aliou Cissé.
“He (Man) remains one of the elements I can count on. He is a leader on and off the pitch.” Cisse added.
