Olympique Marseille are on the heels of their former player Andre Ayew.
The Ghana Black Stars skipper is now a free agent after his short contract with Nottingham Forest came to an end.
Marseille, the club which Ayew was nurtured have qualified for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League after they finished third in Ligue 1 and he is one of the experienced players being considered by manager Igor Tudor to beef up the team as Sanchez is on his way out to Saudi Arabia.
Ayew, 33, was promoted to the Marseille senior team in 2007 and went on to play and went on to play 209 games for the club scoring 60 goals and providing 25 assists before leaving for Swansea in the summer of 2015.
