Martin Koopman names Hearts of Oak’s starting XI to face RTU in GPL opener, Ramos, Agbesimah, Evans Adomako, others start

Hearts of Oak’s head coach, Martin Koopman, has unveiled the starting lineup for their inaugural match of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season against Real Tamale United (RTU) this evening.

The Phobians are kicking off their season with an exciting showdown against RTU at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.

In the heart of the action, goalkeeper Richard Attah has been entrusted with guarding the net for Hearts of Oak, while Kelvin Osei Assibey and Kofi Agbesimah will serve as the central defensive duo.

On the flanks of the defensive line, former Black Stars left-back Dennis Nkrumah Korsah and Michael Ampadu will provide width and defensive solidity.

Upfront, the in-form Kashala Ramos Wanet will make his debut, leading the attack for Hearts of Oak. He will be joined by debutants Evans Adomako and Martin Karikari, both of whom recently joined the Phobians from Asekem FC.
