Mason Greenwood, 22, has been in sensational form for Getafe as he scored and assisted in Getafe’s 3-0 evisceration of Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Sevilla on Saturday.

Borja Mayoral put the away team ahead with a 5th-minute Panenka penalty as Mason Greenwood assisted Jamie Mata for Sevilla’s second in the 37th minute.

Greenwood added Getafe’s third from the spot in the 79th minute. To Micheal Essien’s surprise, a left-footed Greenwood took the penalty with his right foot.

Micheal Essien, former Chelsea all-action midfielder wrote, ” I am quite impressed seeing Mason Greenwood a left-footed player, taking a penalty kick with his right foot and scoring”.

The ex-Lyon, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Ghanaian midfielder Micheal Essien has been impressed by Mason Greenwood’s ability to use both legs perfectly in football.

Mason Greenwood is on loan from Manchester United at Getafe. The talented forward has scored three goals and has provided four assists in the Laliga.

Getafe is lying 8th on the table with 25 points from 17 games.
